Our Outreach

The St Patrick Soup Kitchen is dedicated to supporting other missions in our parish and community. We wanted to share with you our outreach and a little bit about each of the missions we support. And, invite you to volunteer with us, of course!

Our volunteers package and deliver 25 soup suppers to the Safe Parking community in Encinitas each week. Current residents have been so appreciative to receive a hot meal!

Our volunteers shop and purchase the food giveaways the Showers of Blessings distributes in their outreach ministry each week.

Last year, St Patrick’s Soup Kitchen partnered with Shoes To The World, and Sowing the Seeds of Mercy in Pakistan with the Eudist Fathers’, raising funds and providing 1,327 pairs of shoes to Pakistan school children living in poverty.

This year, our project has expanded to 2,500 pairs of shoes along with a request from Togo – Africa.

St Patrick’s Food Pantry

3526 Madison St, Carlsbad CA 92008

The food pantry in downtown Carlsbad is sponsored by Catholic Charities as part of their Emergency Food Distribution Network (EFDN). Any extra food from our Thursday Soup Suppers is transported to the Food Pantry and fresh bakery pickups from our local sponsors. St Patrick’s Catholic Community volunteers help to distribute food each week at the pantry on Saturday mornings.

If you, or know of anyone needing food, you must register on the EFDN website. There are multiple food pantries in San Diego county and the closest pantry will support you based on your zip code, once you register.
